Turn a sideways photo or straighten a scan
Choose a still image, use Left/Right for quarter turns or enter a small angle to straighten it. Flip horizontally or vertically in the rotated view. The preview updates before you prepare the actual encoded download. Reset rotation and flips restores the original view. Undo changes recovers the prior image, transform, settings and prepared download after edits, Reset or Clear, until a successful export or accepted replacement.
Keep the whole image
The canvas expands around non-right-angle rotations, leaving transparent corners. PNG and WebP keep transparency; JPG fills it with your chosen background. Use Crop image afterward if you want a tighter rectangle. A rotation that exceeds the output limit requires a smaller source image or a different angle.
Quality and privacy
PNG is the default and losslessly encodes the transformed pixels. Quarter turns and flips avoid resampling; other angles interpolate pixels and can soften detail. JPG and WebP use lossy encoding, including quality 100. Every change starts from the original decoded image. EXIF orientation is applied on import and metadata is removed from exports.
Still PNG, JPG and WebP only, up to 10 MiB. Both input and rotated output are limited to 12 million pixels and 4,096 pixels per side. Animated files are rejected. Processing stays in browser memory with no upload or saved draft. Cancel stops waiting while keeping available work; native work has 30-second wait deadlines and may finish in the background. Invalid replacements preserve your existing image and download.
