Know your image's actual pixel size
Choose a PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF. Measurements come from its file header, not the size of the preview on your screen. EXIF orientation is used for displayed width and height; the original stored grid is shown separately. GIF dimensions describe the logical canvas.
Check an upload requirement
Open Check required dimensions, enter the width and height and choose exact, minimum or maximum. Both dimensions must meet the selected condition. This checks pixels only; it does not verify a website's file-size, format, subject or composition rules.
Estimate a print size
Choose a PPI value to see inches and centimeters. More pixels per inch means a smaller print at the same pixel dimensions. This is a calculation using your chosen density, not a reading of printer DPI or a promise of print quality.
Large images and animation
Files up to 20 MiB can be measured. Previews are limited to 10 MiB, 12 million pixels and 4,096 pixels per side; larger images still receive header measurements. Animated PNG/WebP/GIF uses its canvas dimensions, with a still first-frame preview when supported. GIF frame count is not inspected. A readable header does not establish that every image pixel or animation frame is intact.
Files stay in browser memory. No upload, modification or saved drafts. Cancel stops waiting while retaining available header measurements. Clear removes the image from view; Undo can restore measurements, preview and settings until a valid replacement or a new checked requirement. Previews have a 15-second wait deadline, and native decoding may finish in the background. Reports contain dimensions and selected print/requirement settings, not your image pixels.
