Make a useful expense record
- Choose one currency for the report. Add a date, description and amount for each expense or refund.
- Choose or type categories. Reuse the same spelling to group records together.
- Preview totals, including refunds and net spending by category. Download CSV for a spreadsheet, PDF for sharing, or JSON to edit here later.
For example, travel of 450 and supplies of 275.50, less a travel refund of 50, gives net spending of 675.50. Travel contributes 400 and supplies 275.50. Refunds larger than expenses produce negative net spending; they are not silently discarded.
Limits and calculation rules
Use 1–100 rows and one currency. Each expense/refund total is limited to 1 trillion currency units. Amount precision follows the full shared currency registry, including zero, three and four decimals. Changing currency does not convert values. Category names are case-sensitive; an empty category becomes Uncategorized. The period is derived from the earliest and latest row dates. Report rows retain your chosen order.
Enter amounts including any taxes you paid. No tax recovery, exchange conversion, reimbursement eligibility, receipts or accounting compliance is inferred. A report of entered records does not prove payment. CSV protects text that resembles spreadsheet formulas; signed spending remains numeric. PDF is bounded to 30 pages and can be cancelled.
Privacy and recovery
Processing and PDF creation happen on your device. Nothing is uploaded. Drafts are saved only when you choose Save on this device. Clear, examples, row actions and draft restore have one Undo step; editing then starts a new draft state. Delete saved draft removes only the browser copy. Keep the downloaded JSON if you want a portable editable backup.
