Make a banner for your own placement
- Start with a sample, your headline, or a background photo.
- Choose a canvas preset or enter custom dimensions under Export settings.
- Drag your text or photo into position. Adjust type, colors and shading, then inspect the actual exported image.
Wide banner, website header, landscape and square are convenient design canvases. They are not claims about a social network’s current requirements. Check the dimensions and cropping used by your website, email template or upload destination. For measured comparisons, use the post dimensions tool.
Custom size and editable type
Custom banners support widths of 320–4096 px, heights of 120–2160 px, at most four million pixels, and aspect ratios from square to 8:1. Changing size reframes the photo without stretching it. Headlines and subtitles remain editable. Narrow banners may need shorter text or a smaller text size; fit errors prevent clipped text exports.
Use arrow keys to position text or the photo, with Shift for larger steps. Undo and Redo retain up to 20 design states. Reset restores the default design while retaining the photo. Successful photo replacement or removal starts a new history while preserving text settings; failed uploads preserve the previous image.
Local files and export quality
Your PNG/JPG image and text stay in browser memory without uploads or automatic storage. Inputs are bounded to 10 MiB and 12 million pixels. Browser orientation applies; animated PNG becomes a still frame. Fonts depend on device availability, so review multilingual text in the exported image.
Output is opaque PNG or JPG with source metadata removed. Transparent photo areas use the chosen background. JPG quality affects file size, which is measured after encoding. Enlarging a small source cannot restore detail. Native operations have a 30-second deadline; cancelled or obsolete results cannot replace your current design.
