Place your watermark
- Choose a plain, unsigned PDF. All pages are selected initially.
- Enter your text and adjust color, opacity, width and angle. Drag the live preview, use its arrow-key controls, or adjust the position sliders.
- Untick pages that should stay unmarked. Inspect thumbnails and use the preview page buttons to check the placement.
- Create the PDF. The preview switches to the actual output so you can review it before downloading.
Text and page handling
The watermark text uses your browser's available fonts and is embedded as a transparent PNG. This supports the scripts your browser can render; check the preview for missing glyphs. Use up to 80 characters on one line. The watermark itself is an image, while existing PDF text remains as text.
Placement follows each page's visible crop and rotation. Size is proportional to page width and may shrink to keep the rotated watermark within the edges. The same relative position is applied to every selected page. Unselected pages remain in the PDF.
Privacy and limits
Processing stays in your browser with local PDF assets. Files may contain up to 100 pages and 20 MiB. Encrypted PDFs, signatures and interactive forms are unsupported. Each operation has a one-minute deadline, including a 30-second PDF worker limit. Cancel preserves your accepted source and selection; Clear removes work from the workspace. Undo changes restores source, settings, selected pages, preview and completed download after edits or Clear; a successful export or accepted replacement ends recovery. Invalid replacements preserve the accepted document.
A watermark is a visible label, not copy protection or redaction. It does not prevent editing or removal. The original file is unchanged. Review the generated PDF before sharing, especially documents with annotations or unusual page content.
